The admissions for BHTM four-year degree course are done strictly
on National Level Common Admission Entrance Test. The total number
of seats approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
is 60 per year which is likely to go to 90 shortly. The Institute
follows the reservation policy as per the rules of Government of
Gujarat.
VIHTM invites the application for admissions to 4-year Degree
Program, "Bachelor of Hotel and Tourism Management" (B.H.T.M.)
every year in the month of January.
Minimum Eligibility:
The Students who have passed (10+2) with Arts, Science or Commerce
stream with minimum 45% aggregate marks are eligible for appearing
in the "Entrance Test". (Those awaiting their results are
also eligible) It is compulsory for the applicant to have English
as a subject at 10+2 level.
Procedure for the Admission:
The candidate has to appear for a National Level Common Admission
Entrance Test. The admission is purely on the basis of merit i.e.
50% weightage to 10+2 result and 50% weightage to Entrance
Exam.
Interested candidates are required to submit an application on
a Plain paper with their full name, address, email, contact
number with STD code and six passport size photographs along with
a DD of Rs. 1100/- in favor of VIHTM payable at Rajkot in order to
avail Prospectus, Application Form and Sample Question Paper. The
candidates are required to clearly mention the choice of center in
capital letters in the Application Form.
Centres for test:
All Metropolitan cities in India, deatils of which shall be
available in the last week of March from the College.
Note:-
• Whether you receive call letter & hall ticket or not, it is
advised to the candidates to report at their chosen centers
without fail.
• In order to avoid confusions please bring along two photos and
identity proof with you. |
